Joining our Band Academy is an opportunity to experience ALL aspects of playing in a band. These are just some of the things you will develop and learn if you join our band academy:
*Teamwork and collaboration: Choosing songs, listening to others, blending sounds,staying in time.
*Confidence Building:Performing together, encouraging each other,group rehearsals.
*Improving social and emotional wellbeing:Being in a supportive environment,expressing yourself through the different types of music.
*Musical development:Introduction to a variety of instruments,musical roles,learning about different genres of music.
Our band academy is led by industry professionals who are constantly on the gig circuit, so you will acquire skills and knowledge from tutors that know first hand what it is like to perform live in front of live audiences.
We also give many opportunities to play at different events and venues throughout the term such as; Our end of term gigs, Pudsey Carnival, Fuse Festival, Pudsey Christmas Lights Switch on, and many more. We will also offer our guidance with obtaining gigs, and offer help with band management.
Experience of playing an instrument is essential for our band academy.
