New for this term, we are hosting a 10 week music production course where you can develop the essential skills to be able to make your own music.
We will equip you with the knowledge so you can get lost in your music and use the skills involved to have a creative actvitity in your life which helps you with your wellbeing.
Course overview:
Learn how to produce music on Ableton Live Digital Audio Workstations (DAW).
Understand how to play and record MIDI instruments and drum patterns
Import and edit audio samples and loops
Use audio FX and techniques for sound design
Understand functions on a soft synth and plugins
Record and edit audio
Sequence ideas into song structure
Mix and master your music
Understand how to get your music on streaming platforms and promote yourself
Meet other music lovers
You can work on your songs in-between sessions and bring them for feedback each week.
All of the equipment, software and keyboards/push pads are provided. We just need your ideas and we will inspire you.
